Of course, it would be hard at first, but little by little, you would be able to crack your own shell, and find out the problems that has been plaguing you. By doing it over and over again in multiple sessions, you would be able to see that the problem lies in the disorder, and not in you.

Getting rid of the negative feelings and emotions is definitely something that you need to do, and you need to take care of it at the earliest. You do not want your children to think that they are responsible for the problem that you have, and consider themselves guilty all throughout their life.
